Random Lyrics

When you walk through a storm hold your head up high,
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of the storm is a golden sky,
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain.
Though your dreams be tossed and blown...
Walk on, Walk on with hope in your heart
and you'll never walk alone.
You'll never walk alone.

What is "Choir Boosters?"

TO THE PARENTS OF MHS CHOIR STUDENTS

The role of parents on our choral program is very important. Your support comes in many different ways. Some of you will encourage your student to take private voice lessons that are offered at a nominal cost during the choir period or scheduled at other times. Being aware of the course of study and encouraging your student’s involvement in the musical opportunities available shows that you are supportive of their efforts. Your attendance at concerts and involvement in the Booster program (please see below) are ways that you help us succeed in the musical education of your student.

The students will have received a course outline listing all expectations for the course, as well as concert dates for the school year. Please ask to see this outline so that you are aware of the dates involved.

It is always a pleasure to have parents visit our class; you are welcome any time. Please call before you come so that we can notify the office to expect you. If you have any concerns or questions, feel free to contact us.

MHS CHOIR BOOSTERS

The Choir Boosters is an organization open to all interested parents, guardians and others who wish to support the Merrillville High School Choral Program. Your involvement is encouraged and greatly appreciated. There are many areas in which volunteers are needed. Meetings are held in the choir room on the first Tuesday of each month. Meeting dates are listed in the choir calendar.

While there is no obligation, we strongly encourage you to explore this avenue of involvement.
