Welcome to the new school year! We have an exciting and busy year ahead for our choir students - one that we're sure that you will want to participate in as much as possible! The Choir Booster organization is designed for you to assist in keeying our choral program at its premium level. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month in the Choir room at 7:00 P.M., with our first meeting scheduled for September 7, 2004. Everyone is welcome - we enjoy seeing both new and familiar faces! At the meetings we learn upcoming choir information first hand (no need to ask your busy student!) and we plan ways to help make Mr. Emig and Mrs. Reinhart's live much easier!
There are many ways you can serve the choir program, even if you only have time to volunteer occasionally or for small periods of time. Your students will earn "Award Points" because of your participation. If everyone makes the effort to help just a little, those "big" tasks won't seem so overwhleming!
Please read over the list of areas (found later on this page) in which you can serve. Try to find at least one opportunity to help make your student's experience in choir the best that it can be! Being involved with your child will be as rewarding for you as it is for him or her!
Our first special event will be the "Welcome Freshmen and Parents" potluck on Saturday, September 18, 2004 from 4-6 P.M. in the Pierce Middle School Cafetorium. Come and enjoy good food, interesting parents and the musical program of song and dance provided by our choir students!
We look forward to seeing you at the potluck and at our meetings.
